week 14: risen
"Christianity is founded on the greatest of all miracles, the Resurrection of our Lord. If that be admitted, other miracles cease to be improbable" (Bible Dictionary, "Miracles"). Jesus Christ lives! He lives! Because He lives, we have light in our lives. “[He] the light of the world: he that followeth [him] shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12). Because of Christ, "even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." Because He lives, we have hope. Peace is possible. Eternal happiness is possible! You guys! That is something to thank God for on our knees every single day of our lives! I know that because Christ is risen, I am never alone. No matter how dark life gets for me, it can always be a little brighter with the Savior, helping me in every step.
